5th birthday of this forum

A few days ago the 5th birthday of this forum passed without anybody noticing it.

At the end of 2008 this forum was formed by a group of members of the "old country".
These members were not happy with the way the old forum was run:
The old forum was only run by one person. And he was also gone for quite a long time, which made the forum polluted with all sorts of unwanted stuff.

You may not notice it, but the admin group on this forum quite frequently removes inapproporiate posts & spam. All you members help us, by reporting this stuff & thanx very much for doing so!


Fortunately quite a few members of the old forum also switched to the new one. Read this post from Jan. 2009.

Although the old forum still has more members (most of which are not active), just compare the amount of posts of this forum (23.480 just now) to the old forum (8281 just now). You'll see that this forum is much more alive & kickin'.

Thank you to all the admins for your hard work - I know it's one of those jobs that can take up a lot of time, but no one notices! The sucess of the forum and the wealth of information on it is testiment to your efforts. Many thanks

And also to the members themselves for the imput that makes the site the fount it is...
