Well went for my first proper spin on the ntv today 50miles round trip. Think Mother Nature decided to throw everything at me from no wind, gentle breeze to strong winds, nice and sunny to lashing with rain. Although the weather at times was not great i was surprised at how well the ntv handled the different conditions.
Although 50 miles does not sound the greatest of distances, for a novice like myself in changing conditions it was enough.
Need to get out and get more miles under my belt as in 2 weeks time I need to use bike to commute to college and its 120 miles round trip.

Well that's the fork seals done today, took the bike for a quick 5mile spin and not a drop of oil on the forks, and all nuts and bolts still tight after the spin.
Must say bike feels like it handles better in the corners.
Ready for tomorrow's first trip to college. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the trip or not..... 60 miles then I hit rush hour traffic all the way into Dublin city centre plus rain forecast for tomorrow.
