Moving over from the for sale section, I purchased an oval carbon end can for £5.50 last week and last night i ordered one of these www.jonspeedracing.co.uk/index.php?webpage=product_detail.php&product_id=15251&cID=12599 why not the evilbay mini one? this one is the only one i have found at a reasonable price that has 38mm inlet and 50.8mm(2 inch) outlet, I have a link pipe from the can so I will wait for this to turn up before I decide if i need a 50mm 30 degree bend aswell Pictures when i get the manifold Ta Ray

I did it today, not quite straight forward as I had to cut the 2 into 1 as the exhaust would have ended past the rear of the bike the manifold I removed about 10-15mm off of the smaller(2) end and quite a bit off of the larger end,I also chopped the link pipe down as i wanted to use the bend to get the endcan a bit higher I used exhaust paste where the linkpipe slips over the manifold Its not too loud, not any louder than my motad with a rotten link and two holes in it, just went out on it and she seems to run ok, a bit of popping and banging on the overrun, to be expected as I run a in air box K + N filter aswell Cheers Ray

Started this morning after living at the station all night, feels more sprightly and oddly lighter(going mad?) its quite a bit lighter even than the motad Ray

:)hi looking at upgrade for my exhaust. .looking at posts can some one who has done this (sorry not very good with plumbing).. are the header pipes from engine. 38mm, so two pipes both 38mm go to y pipe,. and go out at 50mm (2inch) to exhaust, so need an exhaust road legal like micron or oval can with 50.8mm which fits on y pipe. goes this sound right cheers martin, the slug..

On mine the y piece fitted inside the link pipe for the can, It was not a snug fit so I used some exhaust paste Ray
