Hiya, Ill be getting rid of my two Revere's now I've finally got my Aprilia Atlantic 500 on the road (rebuilt brakes, replaced front wheel, discs, voltage reg, a brake interlock relay, etc).
One of the Revere's has MOT & tax until next summer (I'll check exactly when the next time I'm at home), & is roadworthy but needs the clutch swapping out as it's slipping a bit. Also the headstock bearings & the rear shock are starting to fail. Front forks leak a little bit as is kinda normal on an NTV it seems. This bike has HID headlights (dipped & main) & they are excellent & passed the last MOT no problem. Mechanically the engine is tired, 93k miles, seen better days but still runs fine. I've done lots to keep the cooling system going.
The other Revere is missing a few bits as I've been using it as a donor bike. The engine is very good but one of the front exhaust studs is broken (it was like that when I got it). Rear shock is good, clutch is good carb worked last time I tried it when it was intact. Front shocks are shocking. Rear brakes missing completely. Lots of bits in plastic box, all rather used & yukkie. Set of clocks working but casing not so great. Dented old headlamp & mountings. Etc Etc Etc.
I have spare set of spark plugs, spare saddle cover, spare exhaust gaskets, & some other bits & pieces that are new.
Between the two bikes there is a good one but it needs someone who is strong enough to do the jobs.
Tyres on both bikes are legal, but one of the front tyres has a slow puncture & is probably maxxis anyway, I didn't try using it.
Ask if interested.
