I do some very nice cornish pasties (yes, in Holland ....). If you're ever in the neighbourhood, come & taste some.
Franklin
PS. Technically I'm not allowed to call them cornish, as they're not backed in Cornwall.

Sun-Dried Tomato & Goats Cheese Sauce (over a pasta of your choice) Serves six Oil in a large saucepan. - Add 1 medium Onion thinly sliced,
- 3 Carrots sliced very thin on a cheese grater.
- 3 large sticks of Celery
- I added about a third of a tube of tomato purée at this point as I like tomatoes.
Stir for ten minutes until softened. - I added about 3 cloves of garlic at this point, if you like it fried it can go in with the onions.
- Add two tins of tomatoes.
- Add one jar of Sun-Dried tomatoes in seasoned oil.
- Add herbs to taste I used about half a teaspoon of Provençal herbs, The name sounded nice and I thought it would be ok.
Cook up a large pot of spaghetti. - Place the pasta into a large serving dish.
- Pour over the sauce.
Crumble three soft goats cheeses over the top, and use a pair of forks to lift the pasta through the sauce and the cheese so it gets roughly covered in sauce and the heat of the pasta melts the cheese. Sprinkle with a handful of black olives. A tub of large green olives off the delli in a bowl were an extra but were a big hit at the table. Serve with chunks of French bread and wash down with your favourite wine. (Inspired by Sainsbury's Pasta Sauces)

Not quite a dinner, but when me and the girls (wend aka the missus and steffi aka our teenager) have dinner if i am cooking and doing a pasta dish..(Bloke special, init lads.. ) i do make garlic bread ala jaz Buy one fresh baguette or french loaf. (also works real well with the homebake types as well) Chop up some garlic into tiny pieces Scoop some butter into a dish, microwave 10-20secs until real soft. add chopped garlic, stir in, pop into freezer for 10-20 mins until hard but still spreadable. Stick it on table and slap onto bread, Bl00dy lovely, garlic butter par excellence, and simple to make. ( for the garlic lovers make chunks bigger for that lovely garlic hit) CAUTION for single people: Garlic can spoil your chances of a romantic evening. Only use on a date thats a sure thing or if your not really into them that much. It may also cause problems at work the next day IF you over indulge. You use this garlic recipe at your own risk.... ;D For those who like Garlic try this sites recipes Garlic recipes

Mmm Garlic. Aah, Jazz66, it only works if date/ partner/ family members also like garlic. Remember, it's only OTHER people who pong of garlic. The garlic eater is happily oblivious (unless someone tells them why they are so sad and lonely). Mmm Peas. What, jj, fishcake chips and NO peas? Oh the peas. Aargh, the flatulence. So as a happily oblivious garlic loving, pea eating, flatulent motorbiker (who needs no encouragement to put on weight) I find this thread mouthwatering already! Must go, got to eat.

Ooo you lot are making me hungry. I must admit I don't cook very often, but on occasion I've been known to whip up something nice.
My best one's Spaghetti Carbonara, not made from scratch admittedly, the sauce is out of a packet, but it's lovely none the less.
I'd post the intructions, but they're on the packet.
Though I recommend using pasta shells instead of Spaghetti, much nicer!
