I had seen you frame (McF) on this site, looks like a blueish tinge to the frame colour ?
The closest match my local powder coaters had was called "Pan silver" ?
There is a little bit of pitting on the rear bungey hangers where it was badly corroded. But the main front engine bolt tubes have come out like new.
Its funny how my projects completion times always seem to be multiples of threes. 3 weeks for smallish projects, 3 months for medium and 3 years for complex ones. Perhaps this post might motivate you in the same way groovylee's has motivated me.

looks like a blueish tinge to the frame colour ? Colour temperature I think on the photos, it's plain silver Perhaps this post might motivate you in the same way groovylee's has motivated me. Perhaps it might but then again, no, didn't do the trick I'm afraid ;D I've always said it was going to be a longer term project, but that was when I thought I would get it finished before the end of the year In 2009

Now that's lovely. I have applied Hammerite Smoothrite Silver to my main frame spars, six feet plus it looks fine, but a bit scrappy close up. I'm thinking of a few coats of spray and some clear lacquer over the top perhaps.
