re-vile .. first ive taken off & blocked up the emmision control system second ive changed the nt650 carb for the ntv650p carb so smaller jets
low revs its ok......pulls like a tractor.......once i get above 65mph it feels like its running out of fuel
first thought was the fuel tank air intake......ran with cap open.....same new fuel filter & fuel pump off fingers......... spark plugs are a nice color.......if not slightly lean
is it just the jets to small............
oh throttle wide open it tops out at 80mph

dont know if you looked to see if the filters above the float valves were clean . if you look at the bottom of the carb remove the pin holding the float remove float then remove overflow valve jet. it was in a brass body screwed into the carb remove it there is a filter above. same on both carbs often overlooked 2 check no holes in rubber carb diaframs its vacume that lifts them 3 in the side of the carb is a round cap with a bit sticking up (ok its 5 am and i am still awake) some thing makes me think check the rubber seal in this as well also if i remember right above the petrol tank tap i think there is a filter in the tank i have seen these full of ? fibers and rust finaly on the bottom of the carbs is a drain screw put clear pipe on the overflows of the carbs and unscrew the screws till petrol shows make shure the pipes face upwards this will show if the float heights are ok and if they are shutting off ok 4 make sure none of the petrol pipes are kinked hope this helps mark
