Disagree on both points I'm afraid ;D Great bike and fantastic video Yes, I'll agree with you on the video part. But about the bike........ Both you & I are much more used to the upright riding position, which hardly gives any stress on your hands & wrists at all (especially you in you mighty armchair pan). I've done a day's riding on this bike and my hands & wrists were killing me even half-way though the day. Towards the end of the day, I couldn't pull in the clutch lever (fortunately it switches gear without using the clutch ). Because you & I are about the same age, I'd like to hear your opinion of this bike again after you've riden it for a whole day. This is more a bike for the 'real' youngsters. ;D GvS

Yes, I'll agree with you on the video part. Thank you; I knew you would Both you & I are much more used to the upright riding position, which hardly gives any stress on your hands & wrists at all (especially you in you mighty armchair pan). Especially when I have my servant co-pilot doing all the work ;D Because you & I are about the same age, a spritely 25 and a bit I'd like to hear your opinion of this bike again after you've riden it for a whole day. Ah well, there you have me. Great bike it might be (and I still say it is), but not on the "ride it all day" front I owned a CBR600 for 3 years and regularly commuted nearly 300 miles each way once per week (into/out of London too); excellent bike but that's not what it's made for, at "just under 25" that was a painful experience. My most recent was a 2 hour loan of a Ducati 999 - fantastic but 30 minutes was enough thank you. The owner kept the bike for 2 months then sold it as "totally impractical"; we both still think they're great bikes - for other people to ride. If anyone has a Gixxer to lend me for a day (and a crane to lift me off when I return it) I'll happily give GvS the report he requests
