A plea for help. Are there any forum members in the Essex area who have a spare tank sitting in their shed? The reason I ask is I intend to respray the bodywork (hopefully before winter) but as the NTV is my only transport if someone has a bashed up tank I can borrow I can keep her on the road while I strip everything down and respray. And the mentioning of the Essex area is that I've got bad legs so anything over 40 mile round trip starts to REALLY hurt. Cheers Andi (The NTV owner with more Titanium in him than his bike )

Hi
I'm in Beckenham, Kent and have a Revere spare tank without taps or cap (any use?). Also see my posting for spares.

Hi Mike, Thank you for your kind offer, I'll have to see if I can get a lift to pick that up as you're to far away for me to ride to (unfortunately). I'll check with my regular lift tomorrow and I'll let you know. Taking that I can get a lift, Do you have a spare front mudguard? Cheers Andi

Andi Don't think I've got a mudguard (I did have) but will look at the back of my shed. Will also double check the tank. If you take the tank you might as well keep it. Maybe you could give me a few quid so I could buy a bottle or two of red wine. EDIT: PM me here-> And I will PM back my address and phone number.

Gents if i may say that a PM private message (look for the persons name on avatar bar to left of post....) Left click below avatar. keeps all the personal stuff strictly between the parties involved. never a good idea to broadcast personal data on any forum. never know when a contentious subject will come up or a random nutter will join forum and then they can pester the life out of ya... Ps Nice to see forum tradition of 'Passing it forward'... as in good will and deeds is alive and kicking...
