(Revere 600 )The horrid boxy noise from the air intake when giving it some revs under load sounds shocking. Really boxey. Is this normal ? I have just rebuilt the bike and all is ok. I am use to fours and single cylinder bikes that dont have the air intake under the tank. Regards P.S.H

hi,
The ntv does make a nice/shocking throaty noise when giving it a fistfull. Personally i like the noise.
Just check it has a standard filter on it not a K&N as the standard will muffle the sound a little more. But yes it is normal. I want to fit a K&N to mine but they are just to pricey.

I rather like it. I liked it even more after I fitted a set of conical filters the other week and it was so offensive I turned round and went home and put the standard airbox back on
