thinkin of selling my G reg revere, not "mint" but clean&tidy, done 32,000miles,tax&m.o.t till october, always starts 1st time&runs well. Any idea what sort of money its worth as there isnt any for sale that i can compare it with to get a realistic price on. It also has a topbox and full powerbronze touring fairing on although mcf maybe interested in the fairing.Any suggestions on what i should ask for it or better still, any offers for it? Thanks Graham

There is a nice looking one for £675 on eBay at present (or buy it now for £730) cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190282424486A low mileage NTV sold for £1,420 on eBay cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170292618905&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37.l1313%26satitle%3D170292618905%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1Your bike is only going to be worth what someone wants to pay for it, my thoughts are make it attractive, desirable and "too good to miss" The type of questions any prospective buyer will ask are: Does it look in good order? All the bits there, paintwork neat, no broken bits. Does it work? Everything does what it should (including gearbox) Have you got a service / owner history? How long is the MOT and Tax? How much left on the tyres? Are there any extras Other relevant questions - how many previous owners, more importantly: how long have you owned and why are you selling? and that is before they come to kick the tyres, listen to it start up and take it for a ride. You will need to advertise at a fair price to get their interest, but also think about some leeway for haggling. A season's worth of MOT/Tax is a good start. 32k miles is low (provided it is first time around and genuine!). Topbox and Fairing are nice to include. Therefore, I'd suggest, keep the advertised price under £1,000 to get some interest. If you're prepared to be patient, £900 plus isn't unrealistic. Most buyers would expect "something off", perhaps £50 - £100. This isn't the best time to be selling - when the weather turns dry and warm you will get more interest and the market turns in your favour. Why sell your aNTy though? Being lured away by the charms of some young floozy? Another bike wooing you away to their dubious charms. Think of what you're giving up. Reliabilty, Dependability, Economy, Comfort a decent rage on a tank of fuel, no messy chains. Your aNTy does everything it says on the tin, which has got to be more than you'd expect from some of the flashier models. PS - you might be thinking of RJ2Para for your fairing. I prefer riding aNTy naked. I have the world's best fairing on my Pan

oooooer missus, too cold for riding naked,i always prefere my leathers on! Thats alot more than i was thinking! just fancy somethin like a Triumph Trophy, have a real softspot for Triumphs,my old Bonnie T140E is sex on wheels! Im not goin to get into all the arsein around with tyre kickers,if someone wants it,they come&take it away.otherwise i may break it,it would be sad to do that really coz its a good solid bike&rides superb but there worth alot more in bits unfortunatly. Im sure if someone got there arse on it,they would be made up with it!

Sorry to confuse, Graham. rj2para AKA (Roger) The fairing would look good but I think it's too big for me, and yes a long way ;D, so go for it Skyhook. She does look good, it would be a real shame to break her up. All the best selling her if you have to. Roger AKA rj2para

I think norfolknchance means as a running bike?
I agree it would be a shame to see another one broken.

Hi Rog, i aggree it is a shame to break it,its a great bike but been offered £300 just for the front end! thats if the guy comes for it,you know what bullsh*tters people can be! If he doesnt get back to me in a week or so,i will probably put it on ebay and see what sort of response i get,Norfolk has seen the bike(with&without the fairing) so can make an offer i cant refuse!!!!! almost finished the diversion so will have to get my rear end into gear to finnish it this week then the honda can get the wrath of my spanners! boohoo sob sob!

I don't have a garage, and can't store another unfortunately thus will have to form the queue on ebay to buy bits as the old girl gets older. Plastic panels are the next on my list. Good luck either way mate. roger.
