Just went for a test drive on the Suzuki DL 1000, and man is it big. You don't just go sit on it...you climb on to it But that was a nice ride, after talking to the salesperson a bit more I went back out and wanted to get on my bike. To my feeling, it had shrunk quite a bit....what a nice little nimble machine ;D Too bad I have no real fairing, and I found out at home my jacket wasn't zipped up all the way.....it's freezing! But never the less, I did take a nice drive along the river bank. (following the route further then on my test drive) To give an impression:

very nice, I like the look and the protection it offers. Have to ask on how nice the salesman was when he offered you a value on the NTV?

The NTV is staying for commuting, so no offer (but I wouldn't count on high offer....as this bike was just bumped down in price so much the dealer has to pay part of the discount himself) By the way: The bike in the picture is just an 'old' second hand one to test on, I'm buying a brand new one Ow, and the wipers are in fact the windscreen mountings, it's an ajustable screen (standard), very nice feature on the bike On the pic below you can see the mounting a bit clearer (eventhough that's not a stock shield) This is the same type of bike (no really it is ), only thing I'm not putting on is the auxiliary headlights.
