Hi Bob600 - no reason why it shouldn't!
Unless one of the bikes in question was modified in some way, the front ends are compatible.
Presume something must be wrong with your current mudguard?
To replace your front mudguard, you will need to remove front wheel and brake caliper. Mudguard will slide down the inside of the forks.
Inside the mudguard should be a steel fork brace. Before you reassemble everything, it's worth a couple of hours of your time wire brushing and painting (eg Hammerite) the brace. They do get pretty messed up so there will be a lot of cr@p and rust to clean off.

I did say "all the decent ones are red"!
Being a bit of an aNTy parts hoarder, If you have space, don't throw out your old mudguard, the split will probably repair with a lick of resin and fibreglass matting on the inside, filler on the outside and a spray of paint.

not sure if mine is 'Normal' but if you undo all 4 bolts and Mudguard is the original colour ( ie; not painted) you can remove mudguard by manoeuvring UP in between forks. it is a tight fit and if painted this can be damaged or removed by the jiggling involved... makes fitting and removing a 5 minute job (May be that my mudguard is different but it has passed its MOT after being refitted like this.... )
