Yep I`ve used them a fair bit myself over the years, plenty of choice over diameters and materials too. Don`t be taken in by the sheeite that`s floating around regarding straight through race cans, and whose are best. All straight through absorption type cans will perform exactly the same given the same diameters and lengths. What REALLY makes the difference is tuned length front pipes / headers and / or tapers in the exhausts. As for the two into one section required it`s relatively easy to have one fabricated cheaply in thin wall stainless, 2 lenghts of 38mm I/D and one piece of 2" / 50.8mm to suit a generic race can. Some thin stainless plate can be easily worked to wrap around the other tubes and a very neat job can be done.

already got one just waiting on getting the engine back in and the headers on. cheers for confirming my suspicions though, i had a feeling it'd work

Hi I´m also looking into a new exhaust for my NTV. So has anyone bought the above mentioned "mini exhaust y-piece" and fittet it ??
I was just curious on how it bolts on? and how et looks?
