Hi all
Having a bit of a dilema about my exhaust.
I have a revere 600 with an original exhaust, forgive me for sounding daft, looking at ntv650 exhaust am i correct in thinking that the original revere one has a collector box? Whereas the 650, 2 pipes, straight out of th engine and straight into the exhaust itself - i.e no collector box.
What I am thinking is either buy myself an ntv650 exhaust and fit or buy one of the fuel ones which i have seen others talk about on here with quite positive comments. Can anyone confirm if the fuel can comes with a link pipe?
Would anyone know if i would have to have the bike retuned to take the ntv650 or fuel can?
What purpose does the collector box serve on the original can?
Question question questions - thought i'd ask the experts.
Over to you . . . . . .

No retuning needed and yes they do come with the link pipe and all the fittings, maybe I should charge them commission

I have a 600 revere currently fitted with a motad 2 into 1 with no collector. I think you are correct the original pipe did have a collector box and a shorter stubby pipe. I am also looking at the Fuel exhaust as my motad is blowing. ATB Roger

Just a quick note: the exhaust on the NTV 650 is similar to the one on the Revere, both have the collector box in the middle. Only difference is the end bit is longer on later models.....this is due to emission regulations. They should be interchangeable
