Looking at this photo: it looks at though part of it hasn't been powdercoated, but I thing it has do do with the reflection of the camera flash. The parts look good. Hope to see the Pan (and you !) some time in the next summer. GvS (Photobucket is apparently still having some problems )

Photobucket is certainly having issues I think GvS meant this one (click to link through) [I don't know what is going on with photobucket but it took many attempts to get this showing!!! It's all been coated and looks wonderful, especially now it is back in the bike. Progress so far is centre stand, side stand, swinging arm, final drive, shock absorber all reinstalled. I removed the footrest hanger plates (they're enormous) to clean them up and service the rear brake pedal. Still a little to do with them but I have to crack on with some Open Uni work so things are on pause for now. I'm still hoping to plan a trip to "the mainland" for a battlefield tour in 2011, but that is subject to work arrangements; looks like I may be choosing a new career from end Mar! and I will certainly be coming on the mighty Pan parte deux

Thanks GvS worth looking at, but only for the front or sides.
I suspect it would give a problem with a "white" reflection at the rear of the vehicle. The only white light allowed in the UK is a reversing lamp and it's not legal for that to be displayed when you're driving forwards.
It's a good idea for it to be black though and blend in with the bike's paintwork. The old one did have quite a bit of reflective surface on the sides and I've thought of adding some to the new one.
I'm afraid she is still sat in the garage waiting for me to finish re-assembly. Swinging Arm is back in, Rear Shocker, Centre Stand and Side Stand all re-fitted.
Hanger Plates for the Footrests to refit, Rear Wheel to go back in and the Exhaust System to fit but at present I'll need to fit skis on her - more than 6 inches of snow!
