Hi People, Quick question about the choke cable... in the manual it shows a small barrel the the cable clips onto with a spring that you screw into the carbs. But i have 3 cables that all just have small barrels with the cables clipped on and the spring.... am i missing a piece Cheers, One cable is attached to the choke lever at the handlebar, the other end of this is attached to a white plastic barrel that slides inside a black plastic outer housing. Two other shorter cables are attached to the white plastic sliding barrel and they are connected to the choke needles at the carb. The white plastic barrel is on one part, the black plastic outer is in two parts and snaps together. I hope you have all the bits as you can only buy it in one piece, part number 17950-MN8-740 Wemoto - £14.95 www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/NTV_650_P_Revere/93-94/picture/Choke_Cable/David Silver - £24.95 www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/by-part-number/part_17950MN8740/I know which I'd choose! Good luck and do let us know how you get on

Are the needles still in the carb bodies? With the choke needles fitted the bike will run OK, but you will find cold starting a problem.
The white plastic internals are only to split the single choke cable from the handlebars into two choke cables, one for each carb.

That's a big improvement, sounds like you're getting the whole choke cable - is that right?

need a clutch cable as well.
