Remembered i had bookmarked this wonderful site and hunted through my favs for it..and here it is www.dansmc.com/MC_repaircourse.htmIt seems to cover just about everything on a Motorcyle that can possibly break or need servicing. There are 108 segments to it, so pretty sure you will some part of it that can help you Put it in technical as it seemed the right place but if anyone thinks it belongs elsewhere, please move it..

Cool Jazz, this has helped me get my baby back on the tarmac. Although I am a little unnerved about a man who repairs motorcycles in the summer and practices taxidermy in the winter! www.dansmc.com/index.htmI can here banjos in the distance , seriously though big thanks to Jazz and Dan the taxidermist and motorcycle repair man......now then, just how much was that beaver skin NTV frame he had for sale....hmmmm. ;D

Btw what needed fixing on bike that 'dan' helped with? heres a link to the movie, just so everyone gets the banjo thing. deliverance: banjo scene.

The duelling banjo isn't the only thing I remember from that film, the other is far less pleasant!

Yes bike was slightly injured by a do-gooder, only mirror and lever (only!). Soft lad had to pay though as no one would admit to it! This time it was in ICU for a week requiring a 12volt drip (optimate) and plenty of TLC, checking the wiring to see where all the electricity went, because there was none in the battery! All is fine, I hope but I stupidly decided to have a go at the cooling system, check the post later tonight asking for help.

Ah well at least the link help with something on the bike... How is the 'Electrickery' as McF calls it doing now, all ok i hope McF the film the does have some pretty unpleasant scenes in it, particularly the one you are obviously alluding to. haven't link to it but it is the same page if anyone is curious. Btw on the film front thought that was a pretty intense yet well made movie, really had Burt Reynolds at the top of his game. Sort of a latter day Jason Strachan (Transporter) or Sly (Rambo ) Thinking about camping in the UK this year, Hopefully it won't be as adventurous as theirs.... ;D

Hi andywales... Sounds like a plan to me.... A haynes manual, dan the taxidermist and your buddies on the Forum.....What could go wrong.. ;D ;D But seriously anything that helps us to keep the bikes running and on the road at a reasonable cost, has to be a good idea, and Dans site is full of useful information. So lets big it up for Dan the Animal man...... Just had a thought, I wonder if he's some sort of distant relation to Hubcap.....?............. ;D ;D ;D

You know when you've drank 12 pints of Vodka or something, and you get that feeling in your stomach and throat that tells you all that alcohol still in your stomach that your body is going to eject it violently because it just can't take anymore?
Why've I got that right now? I'm stone sober.
;D;D

Ah, poor hubcap..... ------------------------------------------------------ Dr Jaz's Diagnosis.. Either someone spiked your tea......NORFOLK! OR You clicked on THAT link i said not to click on... OR Dan the man, is not a relative and the Dead animals in the fridge is just a coincidence. Let us know what would help make you feel better...

Well if anybody's got the power to speed the day up, just 'til half 5, and then slow the weekend right down, that'd really make me feel better!!!!
I do doubt Dan the man is a relative though, I think this animal stuff is a pure coincidence. Though I am beginning to wonder what would've happened if I'd suggested putting my hand inside a packet of bacon that's been in the fridge, as opposed to the refrigerated dead animal. Hahaha!

Well exactly! Hahaha Mind it's a bit late to be thinking about what could have happened, spose if people can't speed the day up, they can't go back either.. wouldn't be too bad though, won £20 on the lotto since then! Hahaha!
