Some rear indicators for the revere would be good, i have some good ones atm, but they are a bit huge compared to my front aftermarkets

Bear in mind if you're fitting mini indicators, or LED ones, that you will need an electronic timer relay for the indicators or they will flash too fast

noted, i have helped a friend fit led indicators to a sv, relays are expensive tho, normal bulbed ones suit me fine, and im not obssessed with having them too small, i like to hav my indications seen, something standard would be fine

Or...fit resistors in paralel with the indicator But I still prefer the "I don't think the car behind me saw them I KNOW he saw them and needs new retina's" kind of bulbs

I was once standing behind a motorbike at the traffis lights, who had made the following alteration: His rear light was one with double bulbs (same as the NTV). When he had his left indicator on, the left side of the rear light would flash, while the right side would burn normal. His standard rear indicators were removed, so this was the only indication (from the rear) that he would turn I could see this modification, only because I was right behind him. From a few meters away, it looked like a normal rear light. I thought this guy was waiting for an accident to happen to him. I had no chance to speak to him, otherwise I would have told him that it was not a very clever modification. GvS

i've seen similar where amber rings glowing from around the rear stop light bulbs, i quite like some of the clusters with the indicators at the edge, think the back of a zzr

When he had his left indicator on, the left side of the rear light would flash, while the right side would burn normal. now you have given me a good idea to try rear bulb flashing with the indicators have to try that Not legal for road use in the UK www.opsi.gov.uk/SI/si1989/Uksi_19891796_en_3.htmnot easy to find and you will need to read two references: 11 (2) (a) - Direction indicators shall be amber 13 (2) (a) - The only lamps permitted to flash are direction indicators On top of which (remember my (lack of) competence with electrickery) - the wiring and relays you would have to install (to ensure that the indicators didn't stay permanently lit when the rear light was on) would be complicated and costly.

A lot of sport type bikes here fit integrated indicators. LED backlights very often have that option. They do light up orange/amber, but I still agree with you that it's not a good idea... Like I said....I like keeping the man behind me in the know. I agree, but thought I would share the knowledge anyway
