why why why are these so hard to get? if anyone has one id be real keen to buy it. I'd like to know too They're more rare than Rocking Horse Sh1t and a lot more difficult to find than an honest MP I bit the bullet a long time ago and bought a new one. They're easy to order but you will part with 70 or more beer tokens

Click on this link: link.marktplaats.nl/319457059This bike is sold in parts and the black bike's right-hand side cover is still available. If there are problems, I'd be happy to help translate. GvS

The man wants 45 euro's for the part. And 25 euro's for shipment to the UK. (I haven't even asked for New Zealand)
Personally I think that is a lot of money........
Let me know what you want.

Not sure how you would fix it to the bike but if we can make a mould, how about making them out of glass fibre?
I have never done this and would not know where to start, but if you have the time it could be the cheapest option.
The last few on UK ebay have gone for about £30 each plus postage so if you can order the correct colour it may be worth saving for a new one.
I waited about 18 months for mine to come up and got a colour matched pair for £36 including postage. The right hand panel needed some work though as the rear fixing was missing.

Things are well rare...BUT if you just want one why not get the cheapest and respray it..? pretty simple job and although you may not colour match perfectly at halfords there are hundreds of different shades for each colour, so you should get pretty close... ;D Of course if its for a 'Concours' bike then pay the cash and good luck displaying it..hope you win a rosette or two.. NB before buying the colour paint T-Cut the panels around it to get the colours up to what they should look like, THEN try and match it... Fibreglass? making one in fibre glass is a bit time consuming and unless you have moulds etc, the results would not match an original panel at all, imho.
