Well, drilled it anyway... on the bike. went in with a smallish drill so the larger one would stay central drilled down until i started to get resistance. then went in with the biger drill ( 2MM smaller than than the barrel ) very soft metal..went down until i reached the resistance... clreared away all the sworf..... pushed in a large screwdriver and turned... hey presto.. it came undone...and no metal nuts in the tank !! may be able to get a replacement barrel for it... or even a replacement cap.... or just carry a screwdriver round with me for when i need to fill up

Ah happy days....... ;D reckon a new cap or lock would do the trick. Oh and i see the profanity filter is still alive and well.. Unless you meant to say NUTS in the tank..... Maybe you meant No Sh1t in the tank, ie swarf...

still, even if it's buggered Excellent command of the English Vernacular there for a Dutchman. What on Earth are your English teachers teaching you at school ;D Teachers? I picked up more from spending time in Yorkshire and listening to British tv than I ever picked up from my teachers....they only taught me proper spelling....which, like in Dutch, I promptly forgot ;D I did get a Yorkshire to English dictionary once but I don't think I have it any more.... I don't have a pilots license...so the pan is too complicated for me Nah....I know how they work....it's just to hard, and I don't feel comfortable practicing on the neighbour's front door ;D

Went out got blathered, got home couldn't find his keys, breaks door to get in, goes directly to bed, gets woken by police 1 hour later.........................wrong house.... ;D ;D ;D ;D Couple downstairs heard the commotion, and sat there stunned as he broke in and went off to bed. Settled out of court, fixed all the doors and gave a small cash sum for the worry etc. took him awhile to live down the Goldilocks nickname... "and baby's bed was just right... " back on topic...yellowmelos how goes that cap lock now mate, replaced it yet...?
