Looks good Just wondering: did he change the swingarm to take 4 bolt or did he manage to hide the centre bolt really well? (I guess the first) But I agree with alien: some smaller indicators would be nicer

This time I did click on the link and had a look at the bikes.
I appreciate and admire all the work that has gone into these bikes. (after all, I like to make & modify things myself (Roger, how's the luggage rack now ?)).
But they are not 'my type of bike'. I personally prefer a tour-bike (e.g. McF's Pan European) or the all-road version of a bike (e.g. Buzzin's V-strom). I like to think that the NTV650 is a tour bike as well (yeh, allright, a small version of it ;D).
Take care & ride safe.
GvS.

Funny you should mention the rack today. I am only planning local rides over the winter and am about to take it off till the spring and give the bike a good clean after lunch Still well pleased and it will be back on in the spring. Do you have enough brown powder

Do you have enough brown powder Yes, thank you. My parents came back from a few days in Cornwall last week. And they brought back a few packets. ;D GvS

Funny, I really REALLY like the old fat droopy indicators on jap bikes, and dont really like mini indicators very much either. no idea why, i really like the slightly droopy indis on the old slabsides like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0YyaGDuUZU&feature=related

(I guess the first) But I agree with alien: some smaller indicators would be nicer It`s a chain drive Hawk remember, they do have the four bolt wheel fixing and not the single bolt shaft drive type.. I quite like the Hawk `thumper` but it`s a shame it`s the nasty FT500 lump even with a 590cc overbore they are sheeite. Would have been better with Yamaha`s 5 valve single motor in there, they`ll go out to 760cc with a sroked crank and around 70 bhp reliably. Some awfy pretty little tools on that link I must say.
