there is a bros near me, i've wondered how they perform considering they are a 400cc and also chain driven, are they worth a look in?

I've only ever seen one, but not the owner, so nil to report from personal experience. I believe that for a lightweight small "runaround" they're very good (and why not if they are a smaller version of aNTy?). I'm afraid chain drive isn't high on my list of "likes", but a shaft drive would be wasted on something so small. If you want a second bike for local journeys and the price is right - go for it.

After the second instalment they probably sent her to jail for riding illegally.

i think as you said, good as a second run-around, unless your NTV is your hack..

post has gone by now, but most of the time if a bros looks high, it's because someone has done the fireblade mod, whereby with a little engineering you can graft in a 900 blade rear shock, with the bros spring. the upshot is sharper, more customisable handling, but a jack up of about 2.5"
and errr... thats my ex missus, and it's a private road! and i wrote the article, and yes, i haven't done the third one coz i got knocked off it!

no, no, the bros is still around. I just haven't got round to writing anything further. lots has happened, since the last installment... a new exhaust, repairs from the accident, new front forks, new paint job... but before I write part 3 i need to work out why it's a b*tch to start. i suspect low compression, but i'm not sure yet.
I've got friends' bikes to deal with first. (VFR with poor brakes and poorly suspension, and a cbr600 with a small electrical fire to repair!
watch that space!

A private road is good as McF says a small world. I the Bros / Hawk bikes, do they corner any better than the Revere?

The Bros 400 is rather breathless but the 650 goes VERY well, Honda fitted a rather nice close ratio cluster to the Bros and seeing as they`re lighter than a stock NTV they really are pretty quick for 650`s.
