Hi to all I have an revere 650 from '97. Hardly 30.000 km on . I bought my bike 2nd hand, in perfect condition. Unfortunately luck wasnt on my side , i had an accident. since then didnt drive again (bike does, i dont ). I want my bike repaired dough, missing a new , or non damaged tank (as the tank took the inpact of the fall) . I believe it doesnt have to be an orginal tank of a revere, but best?? Also want to renew odometer, because of some scratches. He's not that perfect anymore, but still worth some money once tiptop back in business. does anybody has an idea if I can use a different tank, is somebody interested in buying mine as 2nd part bike? Although this bike is ready to ride loads more miles /kms . All help or info or hint.. is welcome, cheers an ex-easy rider from belgium

In the UK, I think the Revere was the 600cc. When the engine was increased to 650cc, it became simply "NTV 650"
Clearly some differences in engine components, but otherwise, main differences were cosmetic.
We all say that a truly original aNTy has to include a dent in the tank. By the sounds of things, yours must have a pretty serious size dent (makes her a member of the aNTy V Royal Family - a prestigious honour).
The tank from a 600 or 650 will fit, but paint colour and scheme will be different, as will decals etc. You would be able to swap the tank across and refit petrol cap with original lock etc
The instrument panel is specific to the model. If yours is a 600 Revere, the handlebars should be bolted on to the top yoke. The speedometer should be larger than the Rev counter. If your handlebars are conventional tubes and the Speedometer and Rev counter are the same age, you have an NTV 650
Sadly, these cannot be swapped between the two variants. without significant re-engineering. Second hand speedometers and their housings are not easily found, and expensive when you do find them.
Sorry to hear your biking days have been cut short - any likelihood you will return to two wheels again?
I'm sure you will find a willing buyer for your aNTy if you have to sell her. There is a page for "bikes for sale" if you need to use it.
In the meantime, please let us help you restore her to the glory you're looking for. Pictures always welcome to help illustrate your questions, problems and successes.

Hi Muzz, If the situation in Belgium is the same as over here in Holland, the bike wasn't called "revere" after 1995. From 1996 onwards, it was just called "NTV 650". Most easily recognized: the revere has two aluminium steering halves. The NTV has a one piece steel tube (chrome) for a handlebar. Also the exhaust-muffler is longer on the NTV. For parts: check out this site: www.otterparts.nl/It's from a dutchman in the south of Holland (near Eindhoven). perhaps it's not very far from where you live. I hope you will have / find the confidence to get back onto your bike. I know it's difficult after an accident. So, don't repair it just for selling it, but repair it so you can have fun again.
