Hello All
Picked up a 1995 NTV650S 3 weeks ago from Dorset and had a great ride home. My last bike was a 1997 CBR1100XX-V which I had for 5 years. Great bike and I may get another one day, or a VFR 1200!!
The NTV is very different but I am really enjoying it, great on the back roads and a lovely riding position. Great to work on, Oil and filter done / air filter changed and final drive oil changed. Going to flush and change the coolant this weekend, before the cold weather comes in!
Apologies if I ask an silly questions, but I find forums are great for sharing knowledge, so thank you all in advance. I do have one gripe though the mirrors are not good, the previous owner had placed some small circular mirrors on the original mirrors to try to get a better view. I will be ordering some mirror extenders very soon.
Few pics below, and the NTV with my mates urban tiger.

Hiya!
Nice-looking NTV!!
I'm afraid this forum is a fair bit quieter than it once was - I only logged in as stuck in flat after operation (nowt serious, just need to recover!!) - but I agree that a forum is a good way to keep old bikes on the road.
NTV is a great cheap wheels choice - built to a very high quality, often NOT bought by dickheads, and not sporty nor retro enough to get too noticed!! Can work on it too! Got my 1993 650P about 7 yrs back, 26K miles and £525 I think. Now 52K miles and looking rougher, but in Spring it got across Germany 2-up very easily. Though 6' tall, I don't find it THAT comfy (skinny @rse??), get sore back/shoulders quickish - got seat refoamed, thicker and wider, which helps lots. Bars raised 3cm too, but further may help. Wonder if big fairing means I dont have wind pressure on chest holding me up, but fairing off over summer makes little difference.
Just replaced clutch, initially had probs due to stuck/corroded fasteners (folk on this site VERY HELPFUL), replaced reg/rect, otherwise it's been pretty good - just usual old Honda treatment of frequent oil and filters.
Enjoy yours - I reckon you need a luggage rack/carrier, but I love the blue colour!
