I'm in the process of returning an ntv650 to the road, it was left outside for a few years and as such there's been quite a bit of degredation all round.
I've sorted most bits out but the trickiest so far has been the mixture/general running, pulled the new plug out after some idling and it was very clean with small white specks on top. Looking indicative of lean mixture.
I've removed and cleaned the carbs, installed new manifold rubbers, synced the carbs and changed the plugs but I still seem to get a bit of a misfire. It's much better than it was before though.
I noticed with the choke on I get quite an audible sucking sound, is that normal?
The carbs were already quite clean, everything seemed to be in place and in good condition.
Anyone else had a similar issue? Any help appreciated guys, thanks!
