NTV650-J Revere (1988 model year) The first NTV was the NTV600-J Revere. Its vee-twin engine was not completely new, having already been fitted to the previous years XL600V Transalp. (Transalp was chain drive.) NTV650-P (1993 model year) For the UK market engine capacity was increased to 650cc by increasing the bore diameter by 4mm. NTV650-V (1997 model year) There was no significant differences from the P(93)-S(95)-T(96) models. NT650V-W Deaville (1998 model year) The first Deauville model was introduced in March 1998. Unlike its predecessor, the NTV650 which was made in Japan, production of the NT650 was from Honda's plant in Spain. Although the addition of a fairing and new bodywork with integral luggage boxes gave the NT a completely new look, the engine and cycle parts were from the NTV650.
