I don't think there were any significant changes to the subframe during the NTV production run, so I'm pretty sure it will fit. The only thing I know that changed from 88 to 89 was the additional of a bracket to mount the preload adjuster for the rear shock to.

Well, there were more changes, like the engine (I believe the oilline is on the outside on the first year bikes). But this doesn't affect the subframe. The first ad actually lists: ab 89 -> from 89 onward But the one thing I would want to know....the term Wing makes me suspect that it needs to be fitted on side panier fittings rather than the subframe of the bike...but I can't be sure (it's not in the description or the pictures)

Hi Undercover & Buzzin, it looks to be very similar to this one fitted to Lees Revere? Fitting points being the side rails & the front grab rail bolts. then i moved on to fitting the top box: so far so good ;D I 'believe' I have this rack from Groovy Lees 'Christine' at the back of the shed; When I picked it up; It wasn't in quite the same pristine condition as in images. As I remember it; Bracketry fittings are there too. (But I'll have to dig for them.) But NO top box plate as in eBay ads... (Lees top-box bolted direct to the rack.) If your interested in knowing more; I'll venture out into the cold when it's lighter and take some images of it now...

Yesterday undercover said: "bbbbbrrrrrr" TOO TRUE: - It's cold, cold, cold out!!! (This time of year: - I'm more of a MTV'r.) Sorry Buzzin, you'd posted while I was typing, lol! I'm not the quickest... My two finger typing's even slower in winter with the onset of cold joints! & if I hadn't taken these images now: - I'd not be into taking them later! However; Bracketry fittings were 'quickly' found? (Rack hung from ceiling.) So took the time to assemble the rack & dry fitted it onto a bare frame: - Hopefully the images illustrate the mounting points & the fixings better... Hope it's of some help...

Very interesting....I've never seen this type of rack before... so interesting to see the different mounting points to the givi ones. Thanks for the pictures! So I guess that means the eBay rack can be bolted onto any NTV (Revere)

Cheers Buzzin, I had a look at the pack contents in the eBay images of the rack kits. I'd definately agree with your guess. (This does look to be the case.) I wouldn't 'guarantee' it for others, but; I would assume it for myself!
