Sun is shining and it's a tanfastic day here on the South Coast - get out the sunglasses and fire up the Hawgs! ;D

130 miles later and back home. Dry and sunny with the odd cloud. Car park full of bikes both old and new. The Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda meet went well. With the Pan well represented. ;D Mine was the only Revere in the car park, so that must be good It was good to put faces to some of the forum members and to meet up with our growing extended family. I had planned for an extened ride home, but I am glad we changed our mind on that as I am well stuffed. I could have done with a full fairing on the dash for home Ride safe roger. Watch out for mad cagers we saw the aftermath of a crash on the way out today which did make us think.

An excellent afternoon out (as always, click on thumbnails for bigger images) Superb weather, good company and we managed to double the 2008 meet up figure Official meet up was Jaz - Suzuki RF900 RJ2Para - Revere 600 Skhook - NTV 650 and myself - ST1100, but superbly supported by Skyhook's other better half (I'm sorry, alzheimer's has set in and I forget your name - how could I? I'm so rude - Pillion Sue F - Suzuki Bandit Neil - CBR600 Ian T - ST1300 Pat - ST1300 Thanks to Sue for taking this picture Loomies was quite busy and full of all sorts of two wheeled transport - some humble hacks, but a lot of very expensive and heavily customised motors too. My eye caught a Norton with Wankel engine in superb condition, I spoke briefly with the owner who confirmed my recognition, but I did not get sufficient time to drool all over it. We saw two massive Triumphs. The one shown here, between Skyhook's (black) and RJ's (Red) we think is 2.3 litres UBG. Truiumph RocketWe then thought, the ST1300 is nearly half that size and a big bike, then the NTV is half as big as the ST1300 and we all like them! So this brute is 4 times the size of an aNTy So first meet up this year and we managed 4 members, there is a lot of summer left, but we cannot leave anything to chance, so when and where do we do it again?

From left to right: McF,(Admin) Jan, Skyhooks better half, Plus Skyhook, rj2para, jaz66, (all Forum members) and neil, Ian, Pat and photo taker Susie (all associated members) if wrong please can some one correct me..? here's a few bike pics from the day. All Pics Clickable for a fuller picture. A group pic :A Group pic: B McF's Mighty Pan Neil's CBR Susie's Bandit Rj2para's shining Revere Sky's NTV Sky and missus at Northern RV point ............Hounslow. Well a good ride out, and although some of us had only just met, the group and private conversations seemed to flow. I think everyone had a chat to all the group at some point, and it didn't seem that anyone was left out. Some of the bikes in the car park were Gorgeous. I know some chatted to Rotary guy, (What a collectors piece that must be.. ) I chatted to a Busa rider, no pics but bike was to die for, pure white and small, skinny but Noisy (Lovely sound) exhaust...MMMmh Was in company and chatting to a Honda rider who had bike tricked out like an old time racer..Number board and no light, (Although light was cunningly disguised behind board ). Lots of other exotica, and when they left, they all felt the need to pop wheelies riding past Loomies from the Gas station next door. As a 1st time visitor, service was good considering they were so busy, food was ok, (Burger and chips ) but i liked it. Crowd were friendly and approachable, and ride down was very nice once we left the motorway, A32 very enjoyable.. ) So all in all a good day, looking forward to next ride out. Same riders would be good but if others joined us that would be even better.. ;D. If the gosport lot could swing it I'm sure the London crowd could manage Bristol-ish area, might suit the welsh / west england contigent ;D..possibly.. Worth considering, as McF say's the summer is nearly upon us, and soon it wil be winter again...BBrrr. So lets make the most of Summer and let's Ride them 'hawgs'..hehe

What can I say thats not already been said, Great day out and nice to put faces to names.
Lots of chats going on and was difficult to keep up with every think going on.
Nice comfy ride down and almost forgot to stop at Loomies as we where having such a nice ride, But for Jazz large rear end we prob would have sailed past.........lol
Ride back was even better ( Had a nice slim rear end to follow of Sue's ) Sorry Jazz but she has a smaller rearend..........lol
Must do more meets this summer, even a night out camping would not go amiss, So come on peeps get out on them Hawgs.............lol
Forgot camera so only got 2 pics and have not uploaded them yet, Also forgot to ask McF if i could throw me leg over his Pan, so another meet soon suits me as to get a chance to have me legover ;D..........lol.......................................................................... a Pan of course

Also forgot to ask McF if i could throw me leg over his Pan, so another meet soon suits me as to get a chance to have me legover ;D..........lol.......................................................................... a Pan of course As long as it's only the Pan you want to get your leg over! You're on - anytime, just don't distrub the cocktail cabinet or gramophone. their settings are very sensitive ;D and apologies to Jan for my earlier memory lapse!!! Thanks Jazzeroo for your post! Sounds like the ride out / meet up was all things to all men (and ladies), so no excuses for us not doing it again ;D We just need to make sure it isn't a long delay [edit] just kicking the profanity filter....it turned your cocktails into thingytails [/edit]

Had me worried there Skyhook, good job you brought Jan Jaz has a big bum but thats ok as you only plan a quick leg over McF. lol. yes it was good to meet up, it would be good to go back again and do the A272 as it's reconed to be one of the best roads in britain. We just need to gas less next time and ride more ;D. As I said to Neil, get a bunch of old blokes in a car park full of bikes and its not going to be quick. We could always meet up at the end of the A272 and get a ride on the way there. Then quick brew and head for home. Either that of you could all come down to Poole for a Tuesday bike night and we could all book a room in the travel in. Not the same room in case you were going off on another tangent
