It's all in the small print.. Having had insurance, including European cover for a couple of years. This year I took the plunge and headed over to France. However while it turns out: I was Insured. I was Insured for roadside support. I was NOT however covered for recovery? (If the value of the motorcycle is less than the cost of recovery, you alone will be recovered) This was to be fair, in the small print, I read just before I left for France. (adding to my adventure) I had a very amusing chat today, with the young man at the insurance company, when I renewed the policy. Confirming the above. I did chuckle when he said, "at least they will get you home". To which I said, but I like my bike I will extend my insurance before the next trip. Remember to check the small print. Rj.
