I'm in the design stage (with a motorbike engineering shop) for a cafe-racer style rear sub-frame. There's a lot of 'gubbins' hidden behind the rear plastics which I'm trying to figure out where to relocate. The plan is: - Relocate the battery (and replace with a smaller Li-ion type). into the rear seat hump/cowl. Update: I've bought an AntiGravity AG-801 110mm x 57mm x 95mm - Remove the remote pre-load adjuster on the rear spring (or replace with a R6 unit) - Relocate the R/R to where the front coil is - Custom rear brake reservoir – directly fitting to the master cylinder - Custom fuse/relay box into the seat-hump. Update: I've bought a MotoGadget M-Unit v.2 This should replace the fuse box & all the relays - Relocate the fuel pump to where the rear coil is. Update: Will be buying a Mikuni dual outlet, vacuum operated fuel pump- Replace the coils & HT leads with coil-on-plugs. Update: I'm not going ahead with this as the sticks will protrude 6"-8" outward from the front-left spark.

Have you had a look at the Hawk forum ( hawkgtforum.com/forum/)? Some of this sort of stuff comes up quite regularly - I'm sure you could pick up some ideas There was a lovely job done with the rear wiring on one bike recently: hawkgtforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31610&page=3- Relocate the fuel pump to where the rear coil is Have you thought about a Mikuni/SV650 vacuum pump? I've fitted one to mine and it's great. No electrics required, it's small and you only have to route the fuel/vacuum pipes, which gives flexiblility as to where you mount it. - Replace the coils & HT leads with coil-on-plugs Would any-one know the specifications for the coils so I can find suitable (coil-on-plug) replacements from a different bike/car? This also came up recently on the hawk forum: hawkgtforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31787
