I was one of the guys who was talking about wrapping my bike. It is part of my job as a signmaker so I know what i'm doing (I think!) The biggest problem people do not understand is that wrapping vinyl doesn't apply as easily as normal stuff. Also a lot of people are selling wrap material on E-Bay and other sites which is not wrap vinyl at all so beware. To be honest I have been in the sign business for 28 years now and I had to relearn everything I thought about laying vinyl. If you decide to have a bash at this I would like you to be aware that all the items that are to be wrapped have to be spotlessy clean and making sure that their is no damage or marks as these will show through the vinyl (the amount of people that ask me to put a graphic over a scratch which just makes the scratch or mark stand out even more). As you are a novice in this department you can get a material which is classed as bubble free, this has tiny air channels to help reduce bubbles. Also their is no way you will get the tank down as a single piece as this is just about beyond the limits of the material so will need to be applied in 2 parts with a join down the centre of the tank (I usually put a contrasting stripe along this). Good luck and remember before application it has to be cleaner than when the bike was new!
Hope this helps SC

Yes that's the other thread but they are showing only the easiest panel to wrap on the whole bike.

I have not checked all the links but they were there originally in finished form I think there was only the one how too. I seem to remember all the rest were as easy. Bar the tank that was extreamly fiddly. To say the least
