I am planning to change the old exhaust on my 1991 Revere. The question is: what is that thing on which the central kick stand is resting? Is that the catalyzer? Should I take it off when I change the exhaust? If I do, how will my central kick stand remain in a normal position? Thanks allot!

It`s just a resonator box, our old tools are pre catalyser mullarkey. You could fabricate up a stop for your centrestand, I`m sure others have done it so someone will be along with images.

If it's still airtight: sell it for a small price to pay for any other changes you could make Original exhausts are always in demand
