Norfolk...
I was a little hasty turning down your kind offer...
I wonder would you measure your Deauville rear shock TOP or frame mounting point?
'IF' your doing something requiring removal of.....
Hmm, what panels have you got left on her now, lol!
There's NO rush. (I may've posted the information if my local yard salvage one.)
Any-way, (It's blue-sky at the moment.) I'm just investigating it out of interest.
For information, I've got;
Fifteen sixteenths of an inch +/- on Revere rear shock TOP & on frame mounting point.
Apologies for my imperial measurements, I get confused with metric. (Senior moments!)
Also just for further information: -
The Revere Swing Arm: -
I make it; Ten & 7/8 of an inch +/- ... Across the pivot points.
I make it; One & 7/8 of an inch +/- ... N/S pivot mount outside diameter.
I make it; One & 7/8 of an inch +/- ... O/S pivot mount outside diameter.
I make it; Two & 1/4 of an inch +/- ... N/S pivot mount to center line of U/J.
I make it; One & 3/16 of an inch +/- .. Across OUTside of lower shock mounting point.
Measurements taken on a cold damp morning with a steel rule & my breakable glasses.
The Deauville Swing Arm: -
I make it; Ten & 7/8 of an inch +/- ... Across the pivot points.
I make it; One & 3/4 of an inch +/- ... N/S pivot mount outside diameter.
I make it; One & 1/2 of an inch +/- ... O/S pivot mount outside diameter.
I make it; Two & 1/4 of an inch +/- ... N/S pivot mount to center line of U/J.
I make it; One & 5/8 of an inch +/- ... Across INside of lower shock mounting point.
The swing arm bushes & pivot bolts are the same on both the models...
So I believe a Deauville rear end; swing arm & shock 'should' fit a Revere.
The shock TOP mounting point may need a little fettling... But I'd 'assume'(?) not...
Posting a couple images to show the swing arm mounting point for shock on both models.
The appropriate mounting for the different metals means; 'the rear shocks are not interchangeable'
