Hi Guys
Could someone tell me the difference between the 400 Bros and the 650 ?? Is the rolling chassis the same ie wheel sizes etc and frame ..Will the lump of the bigger model go straight in ?
Many Thanks in advance

As far as I know the 650 motor does go straight into the 400`s chassis, virtually all else is the same apart from gearing obviously. Why don`t you check for sure on the American Hawk forum?

i've done exactly this.. it's a easy swop... things that need to be 650 are the CDI and the carbs.. also the downpipes are 15mm longer on a 650 so a 650 silencer needed depending on what you had on the 400.. also the chain needs 2 extra links to allow for the larger front sprocket.. but this also depends on the rear sprocket... also don't forget the bros stickers on the frame... a 650 is a Mk2 not a MK1...

I didn`t mention the ignition system nor carbs because I assumed folk would understand that`s a given, different engine, different ignition requirements, same goes for carbs, a bigger motor requires fuelling to suit it..
