I had a set of these fitted yesterday, first impressions, they are vastly grippier than the Avon Roadriders which were on the bike since I bought it last year. Haven't tried in the wet yet, but looking forward to it.
Even in the dry, I only now realise how much the Avons were moving around on the tarmac.
Will report in a few weeks hopefully with some impressions of what they are like in the wet.

The way the weather is going you may get wet weather sooner than you want. It would be nice to wear off the new layer before it rains. Or have you done that already?

Update - I did about 40 miles yesterday so the release compound is almost certainly gone now. This morning, it was totally pissing it down, so I togged up and went out and did a fair few miles.
These tyres are pretty darn good in the wet - when cornering they feel almost exactly the same as they do in the dry - totally stuck to the road. Very enjoyable ride - whilst I don't ride particulary fast, riding at the same pace as normal feels much safer in terms of grip, allows me to place the bike on my chosen line very accurately and easily, and I ended up going 5-10mph faster than usual on a lot of out of town roads.
If they continue like this and don't wear out really quickly, I will be absolutely chuffed.

Glad you are so pleased; my brother runs these on his SV650 and says they are great.
Out of interest what tyre sizes are you running front and rear please?
I could fancy these for my next pair on the Revere.

I have a 150/70ZR17 on the back and a 110/70ZR17 on the front. I've come across multiple sources of info for the front as being 110/80R17 or 110/70R17.

Thanks Wolfy.
I currently have a BT45 on the front and a BT021 on the back.
A matched pair would be good to try.
That said no complaints with the current mix.

I've come across multiple sources of info for the front as being 110/80R17 or 110/70R17. It was originally 110/80R17, but the options for 80 section rubber are now very limited and I don't think any in radial (rather than bias ply) since the Avon Azaro became the Storm. Quite a lot of people now fit a 70 section front for a better selection of rubber. There are a couple of issues - firstly the rim, at 2.5" wide, is a little on the narrow side for a 70 section tyre (most manufacturers recommend a 3" wheel), although this doesn't seem to cause any issues in normal use. Bridgestone have the BT023 listed as an option for the NTV using a 110/70R17, so they must reckon it's alright. Secondly, the speedo ends up over-reading, as a 70 section front wheel goes round more times over a set distance than an 80 section one. I've read that replacing the speedo drive unit on the front axle with one off a CBR F2 sets it back to about where it should be. I guess it depends if it bothers you or not! It's good to hear that the tyres work well - it increases the options when it comes to changing the black stuff!
