The auxiliary wiring, (Lights etc.) will work fine.
As far as the ignition goes; RealNutters comment holds water for me... Makes good sense. So bearing that in mind: - & I'm making the assumption that you've both ignition modules? And that she fires up... If so, & she sounds rough, swap the ignition module out too...
The wiring diagram does look good for this. But, I've no way of confirming it... Compare & check the connecting plugs for location & colours. (Before reconnecting the battery.)

For what it's worth:-
I've just checked out on David Silvers site... Confirmed Part number on the CDI units for:- 600-J 600-K 600-M 650-P 650-S 650-T 650-V And they're all the same; '30410MS9610 30410-MS9-610'

well, eventful day today! deedee popped over bright and early this morning to pick up the BROS rear end for his project (hope you didn't get too wet today mate ) and then me and my eldest helper drove to gravesend for the snot green NTV. picked that up, and just finished unloading her in the back patio now. it looks to be almost complete, but anything missing i should have to hand. i also got a new Dunlop Arrowmax D103 rear tyre, and a krauser pannier rack thrown in. cheers to Jack, his son has a black revere seemingly, but not sure if he is a member, i promised to send a link to the site to try and tempt him over here pics to follow when i catch my breath and the rain stops! small update today. due to the rain, i couldn't do anything with the project bikes, so i hit ebay...... i won a bros 400 engine, it's allegedly a runner, but the output shaft splines have stripped, so at the moment that is on the back burner. with it came a radiator, it needs a bit of sorting, but looks ok. also a centre stand, and a new in package clutch cable. doesn't sound very exciting does it? i paid £6.34 for it all ;D lol oh, and to cap off a good day, my friends Matt and Sarah have decided i can use their garage again for the next project thanks guys, you are awesome oh, and my mate with a van is going to help me with moving all of the bikes around. good day considering the pants weather working for a week now, so no more likely to happen till next week. got busy today bad news on the revere fron, the engine is looking like it might be a no go: when i removed the engine, the rocker cover fell off. i spotted the snapped bolts. oh well, i have spares i thought. so i looked to see where they screw in to...... then i spotted that the cam bearing caps were missing......

possible exhaust plan: vtr1000firestorm rear can: mated to a classic mini LCB Y piece: might need some chopping: not sure how this is going to go yet, or how successful the mini LCB Y piece will be. if it is good, i will put a full thread up about it. credit to DeeDee for the suggestion
