Since I've had my Revere, it's always suffered from a lack of throttle response in strong crosswinds. Initially I put this down to water getting into the HT leads, as the strong winds in winter usually meant it was siling it down as well, but I now know it does it in the dry too. I wondered if it was something to do with the airbox intake, but apparently not. I came across this yesterday hawkgtforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20362 and when I looked at my bike, sure enough, my float bowl breather is hanging down between the cylinders, making it susceptible to crosswinds. I'll relocate it and report back, but I expect this will cure it. Anyone else suffered/suffering the same problem?

I believe mine runs down with two other overflow tubes.... I don't really have the problem with winds from the side....only from the front....and it doesn't seem any worse than the V-strom had....
