Not a bad thing to brake up the miles. And for me extra time to get used to driving on the left side

In making my own check list I found this one which may be of interest. I am currently making a comprehensive list which I will then reduce to the final pack list. Note this is not my list But it will make a start point for ideas.. micapeak.com/checklists/mclist.html

good find roger, thanks! i have managed to get my hands on a tailpack, soft panniers, and a tankbag, so should be able to get enough stuff in for the trip.
out of interest, what are our eating plans? i have a trangia that will handle basic stuff, and there is always disposable bbqs, but i didn't know if you had other plans??

Having been to all previous camps with zero cooking kit. (Thanks all for food and tea on previous trips)
This time with the luxury of thatsawkwards old Panniers and top box I plan to be able to cook.
I will also be taking a Trangia. I have had it since I was a lad but it still does the job.
Regarding food I was planning on buying a couple of the lightweight camp cook packets. Then play it buy ear, pie and chips or pub grub with a pint. Then some tea and bicuits to keep me going till a cafe for an English breakfast etc.
