That has to be one largest second posts we have had A black frame would match the front mudguard. "have the clear wet sanded and buffed and put white carbon on the sides, have to get petrol resistant lacquer now as i forgot about that " I have not done any lacqering and would not have considered "petrol resistant lacquer" either. Shame as I liked the paint job great Blue.

A black frame would match the front mudguard. Only if the frame was carbon fibred I think a silver frame would be a lot better than black or grey I'm really liking that metallic blue - what colour is it? Well done on your early posts and welcome to the greatest forum in town

Well done on your early posts and welcome to the greatest forum in town that would be an option with m3 vynal that i done the front mudguard in,found a new supplier that does it cheaper than my last one as for the colour,i dont have a name for it,its made by my local motor factor(im a light vehicle mechanic) and got them to make it,i do have a code for it but dont know if its there system code or an official code

Re:- Paint colour...
For what it's worth:- My local automotive paint shop uses RAL designations for his paint. I believe he told me it was Europe wide? (I'll enquire next time in.) He said: I'll get an identical batch from any reputable automotive paint shop in the country by giving the RAL number. (& reference.) Just checked the paint cans that I still have & although they've got a code number. (& some have also got a reference number.) I can find no 'RAL' designation as a prefix, or suffix on the labels, lol!
Probably doesn't help much, but may be worth bearing in mind:- The next time anyone has any bespoke colours mixed up!
Bike looks great... My first impression was of a retro look... Until I looked closer: - The white carbon fiber vinyls keep it contemporary... Well nice!

Brilliant, a fine looking job indeed. I'm still toying with what to do about the tank on my NTV, it has a couple of medium sized dents, a handful of small gouges, and lots and lots of small scratches. in thnking about spraying it myself, I sanded my side panels and tail cover, primered, and sprayed with BMW Montreal Blue, which is cheaply available at Halfords. It's noticeably a touch darker than Honda Candy Wave Blue, but considerably cheaper as you'd imagine. Anyway, to get ot the point, my painting was not very good and I honestly don't think I have the space or equipment, or inclination, to get the hang of spray painting properl. I will like get the tank and panels professionally sprayed later this year if I'm still hanging on to the bike by then. White wheels I like a lot, although not all bikes can carry the white wheel thing off with conviction, yours certainly does! Thanks for taking the trouble to post, hope you enjoy your NTV

Maybe I will go for it in the summer - I'll need to source a spare tank so I can continue to use the bike every day and not feel forced to complete the job in a day.
