Great project! Do you have any pics of the completed rear?

@ sakari, I am no further than the pics you see on page 1, I am planning a complete strip down and tidy up for the winter and I am currently stuck with a leaking fork.....

Obviously for the older Reveres like ours then clipons are the answer. I have a view (though I'm not sure what the difference would be in terms of the ride geometry etc.) that we could simply lower the top yoke down the forks by an inch and attach the clipons above the yoke. Whilst that would lower the front end slightly I'm not sure there would be an adverse impact? And it may look a bit more "cafe"... For later NTVs with handlebars, there are plenty of cafe racer style bars on eBay that would be a very simple fit.... like these... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BSA-ACE-STYLE-HANDLE-BARS-STANDARD-7-8-24-WIDE-4-DEEP-CAFE-RACER-TYPE-/300573500045?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item45fb93a28dEasy to swap back if you change your mind.... I've done summink similar recently - lots of mixNmatch parts between Homda models. Bros stanchions are longer, for example, and will allow you to mount clip-ons on top of the yoke w/o losing any ride height - will fit straight onto the ntv sliders. Also Bros top yoke goes straight on and are nicer, also cb1-400 yoke nicer still. As for clip-ons, loads of Homda ones, Bros/rgv/vfr/cbr ones for example of the 41mm variety - mainly mid 90s stuff, lots available on eBay. Cables, brakelines and electrics can remain as per the oe ntv, although the throttle lines take a bit of fiddling so that they don't bind.
