Hi Had a post on last forum regarding books about biking. (Too few and hard to find in my opinion... ) And i just came across this little site www.bikelit.com/motorcycle-books-travels-l-z.htmlTeam it up with Amazon for the reviews and you got a pretty good staging post for new/interesting Motorcycle books.. ;D Review of two Wheels One CountryOk they may remain on your coffee table as ornaments , but if just one or two bikers a year attempt to do half of what these writers did, it keeps the thought alive that we no matter whether we are rich or poor / drive the latest 'Plastic Fantastic OR a dodgy old NTV/Revere / have a ten member team as back up OR just go it alone and see what develops,/ we could ALL emulate the Bike riders in these books and live the dream..

and I've still got your "Barry" book, on the late great Sheen.
Little time recently for reading for pleasure, so I'm only about two thirds through, but don't worry - it's under armed guard.

Nice find Jaz, I know where to go looking for my next bike book I don't read much unless I am on holiday, but generally have about six books on the go. Always good to find more though. ;D

Cheers rj know what you mean about hols and books. few things nicer than just sitting on a quiet beach reading a good book.... Unless its just sitting on a quiet beach reading a good book, with a cold beer of course.. Got to be honest and say I am really finding it really hard to find any books i can really get into these days. Re-read all mine, tried hers, just seem to get so bored of most subject matter.......... maybe i read too much when i was younger.. Still the search goes on... ;D Skyhook, see you got the password for Gallery , just give us a shout let us know how easy/difficult it was so we can improve the access for all (Noted you had some access trouble Rj...? )

Also a good read: "Mi moto Fidel" by Christopher P. Baker. Although it's a bit more about Cuba than it is about motorbikes........... Amazon reviewFranklin

Life is rather a nightmare, fasten safety belts and hang on!
Currently in Stirling on a residential course. 3G Internet access is a little weak and we're doing some intensive days. Just finished for the day at 2100 and prep to do for tomorrow, but I thought I'd pop into my favourite Internet space and say "hi" to me mates. Then I thought I would drop in here to say "hi" to Jaz.
You and Roger should come visit me at work some day, it's rather insane!
Book is quite safe on my bedside table while I'm away

Books? I just finished OLD MAN ON A BIKE. Incredible - an old Brit in his 70s rode a Honda 125 from Mexico down to the tip of South America and back up to New York. It's published by HarperCollins and available on Amazon...

Just goes to show what an intelligent lot we got on here.... (mmhh, wonder if we can cut a deal with amazon for a piece of the action.... ;D )
