Depends a lot on the timing, of course. If possible, I'd like to do a part of the south coast.

Full credit to kirriepete for a top idea.
My thought is rather than restricting our selves to doing it all tied to a specific dates.
Why not agree to sections; then we can all either get sponsorship or make a donation to the chosen charity, for the loan of the NTV teddy which can be posted to each rider or riders prior to their start.
The aim would be for a photo-shoot at the start of each leg.
We can then post the photos on the web page with any trip tales.
Or we could have some NTV T-Shirts made?

I will happily volunteer for the section between North Yorkshire/Durham and Wiltshire/Surrey/Dorset/Bucks
I can donate an NTV Con Rod - RJ, they're not as heavy as you might think and probably lighter than a teddy bear!

Golden Con Rod is a bit more bad ass biker, I have to admit. Showing my lack of technical knowledge again! T-Shirt Logo "The Golden Conrod Challenge"

yeah.. a solid gold conrod, i like the idea of that ... when it comes to me i will have ride via the porn brokers before going onto the trophy shop to get a replica made out of plastic.. then get some lead to fill it with so will be almost as heavy. clearly i have thought this through far too much. i would also like to say that any money that is left over following my visit to the bike parts shop, will go to charity..

I'm going to sit out of this one for now so haven't voted.
By the summer I'll either be riding vast numbers of miles & be up for it, or, I'll have found the bike too uncomfortable for sustained distances & be getting rid of it.
Basically far too early for me to be making any decisions, ask me in a month.
