You can get some good Honda decals from eBay - simple search will provide a lot of results If you want original Mr Honda ones, your main stealer can provide, but stand by for a hideous cost When I start my restoration, I'm going for a simple "Honda Wing" on the Petrol Tank and Possibly "Honda" on the tail. eBay £6.95 free postage - simples cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-DECALS-STICKERS-SET-18-/280630641854?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item4156e3c4beBack at home there is a sign writer in my village who has made me transfers to order (VW Wheel centres - the originals never last long!) for a small cost. If you desperately wanted to restore to original condition, you could always investigate that rather than line the pockets of the local stealer

Hey guys! Been awhile since posting here. I have been very busy with bike mods, work and family stuff. I do the hawk decals for the hawk forum here in the US and Bros decals for those in the UK etc. If you are interested in some decals, shoot me a PM or an email at Honda88Hawk@aol.com. Here is a link to the decals page on the Hawk forum that shows a small part of the decals I have done. www.hawkgtforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16932Thanks for the PM Rj. Good hearing from you.

I used to paint bikes for a living, bear in mind that tank stickers need to be varnished over for fuel spillage. If you don't want to revarnish think about the late hornet honda wing on relief looks nice too.
CMSNL has original stickers not toooooo bad.

Due to monetary concerns! I have to go with the horrible standard green colour that I have, but I have a set (tank, mudguard, rear trim and side covers)that will be painted properly when I have the money. I was quoted £700 for a 'proper' job including finishing sanding the tank (I tried but its very hard to get right)
My feeling at the moment is a warm orange colour (the rest of the bike is all satin black now) but I wanted original style NTV stickers in a complementary colour scheme - so thats why I though to scan, recolour and vinyl print a set. A bit anal maybe but the whole thing seems to have turned into a minor project.
Just a honda wing and logo would also be very nice like on the Deauville.

That's alot of cash assuming you haven't got lots of repairs to be done. I used a rubber pad with wet 800 for the final sand before paint.

Even if you scanned them and sent them off to a graphics company to be printed, chances are they wont be EXACTLY the same colour. It's to do with how the printing software works, sometimes the colours don't quite match on screen to how they do on vinyl, too. All they can do is get it as close as they can, which is usually pretty darn close. But if you're wanting an absolute dead replica, I'd buy the original stickers.

Plus OE stickers are much thinner then repros, and I had bad reactions when trying to varnish over them whereas never with originals.

That's strange ploddit, I've never heard of that with any of our stickers. Perhaps you didn't get them laminated

Admittedly I've not used alot of repros only about 20 compared with hundreds of originals, and as people were paying about 250GBP for a tank it didn't seem worth the saving.
