The discount is live now (3 members have already asked for the code) (£50 saved for club members so far) and will run until the end of the year. Please note this discount is for forum members only and Fuel reserve the right to change the code if they feel it is being misused. The discount will be 10% to NTV owner club members and they can use it against all their exhausts. The discount code required for your online order available via a pm to rj2para and mcf . This will need to entered and applied at the checkout stages. You need to ensure the code goes in at the basket checkout stage as codes will not be applied after completion of order. Fuel said that they feel it is pretty straightforward process and that the online payment system is tested and working correctly. "But if anyone does have any initial problems, please ask them to let us know, thanks." Not the best recording. But the best we have so far. Challenge?

Managed a quick ride to Burley today with Mcf RJ and I met up for a chat (no brew which was a shame ) and a ride across the New Forest The Fuel system is great, it looks really nice and sounds delicious. It looks very straightforward to fit and will make cleaning and maintenance a lot easier. I rode behind RJ and the sound as he puts a bit of load on was really nice; I should have had my chase cam fitted to the bike, but then you'd all be loving the sound of my V4 (Pan) with new exhaust system just as much ;D I'd encourage everyone to think about this discount offer. There is nothing in it for Roger or any of the other forum admins, only you when you purchase with a 10% discount. Don't forget to PM RJ or a forum admin for the code BEFORE you purchase

A question - your description of fitting sounds fairly straightforward, assuming I don't have a sticky pipe, but I can persuade. However you mentioned 'wheel out' - did you have to remove the rear wheel to fit the exhaust?
Also, did you need any extra parts besides what comes with the package from Fuel?

1. The exhaust had to be removed from the bike in one piece as it was solid together. (I have heard that you can use heat to separate the front and rear sections, but we took it off) 2. I order to get it off in one we had to loosen the lower rad bolts to enable additional clearance required. 3. The front wheel was out at the time for a tyre change but I do not think it would have stopped the process above. McF mentioned the rear wheel as he noted the rear section of the exhaust can now easily be removed as it can get in the way if you need to remove the rear wheel. With my Motad pipe fitted I used to remove the rear break calliper to help with wheel removal. Hope this answers all your points. If not please come back. Rj. Got mine yesterday and enjoyed the un-boxing very much. Considerably shinier than the Motad unit already on the bike. I'm hoping to fit tomorrow evening, will report back, hopefully it won't be a very long report! In the process of putting WD40 on the header bolts in case I need to undo them, I noticed they are almost spotless. I think this bike has had a new set of downpipes a lot more recently than the silencer. A lot more

Success! I thought I'd tackle the fitting this morning, it was very simple. Un-fitting the old Motad was not too much bother but did require swearing, WD40, a big hammer and some doses of kinetic energy I had the whole whole system off, the headers came off very easily indeed, although it was a puzzle getting the front one back on again until I realised I'd slightly bent one of the studs when removing them in the first place.... I put new copper gaskets in whilst I was at it, be rude not to. Interestingly enough, I got the front header off and back on again without having to move the radiator, which was a bonus. There was a fair bit of lying on the floor required though. The Fuel exhaust was very easy to fit, looks ace and sounds fruit but not too anti-social. I probably won't even try it baffle-out, I prefer to stay the right side of the law. Pics and possibly a video on Sunday when the weather is good and I've been for a proper ride.
