Our forum is over two years old now and the admin team are very pleased with the success of the forum. Each day it seems the membership grows. With members from Scotland to Sydney, & quality content that makes this a great place to come for all that is NTV. The forum will be improved (ideas always welcome) but will not move but we would like to be able to display member’s bikes in a more flexible format, with the ability to highlight major trips or projects and where we find them pull together links to other site. http://www..hondantv..co..uk (Edit 2022: sorry, the link is dead) Not available yet, but one idea is to have the templates available for download, this would give any member that wants to get involved, the ability to develop pages off line and then email me the content for upload. I started this project for fun and do not in any way put myself forward as an expert in web development, as any of you will spot soon enough . So if you have suggestions please post here on any points you feel I could improve.

Hi,
Really like the idea, great work! Only a couple of suggestions,
- A link/resource section, for things like wemoto, David Silver Spares, and so on. - Using another font for the text, like the one here on the board.

RJ has been quitely slaving away on this compliment to our forum for some time. It's all his own work and at considerable personal expense too.
Personally I think it is fantastic - well done RJ, fill those size 9's of yours with free beer in the virtual bar

I Pata,
Cheers for the feedback on the font, I have changed the body text from Sans-serif to Ariel which I think is an improvement. But if you have any specific suggestions I am happy to try those.
Links are a good idea, what's the general feeling, a links page? or add more down the side?
Cheers for the beers Mcf.
Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions.

Cheers for the beers Mcf. Most welcome If a Yorkshireman cannot be generous with free beers, it's a sad day ;D

Thanks GvS. Currently it works fine in Google Chrome & Firefox but has issues with IE which I hope to fix soon. I will add a link to the dutch site when I have the IE issue fixed. Can't be a major issue as it worked before my last update. Roger Hold the front page IE is looking better

Thanks Norfolk. Actually my plan is to add links to sites members recommend or that have content that may be of use to members. I am not actually that bothered if it helps other commercial site (unless they all decide to pay me commission ) Or I can land some discount for club members. Eg. I have just bought a Fuel exhaust, and if it sounds as good as I hope I will be giving them a big plug. So far they were very friendly over the phone to order from and my new pipe came well packed with the week. I also enjoyed my kendal mint cake last night while dreaming of rides this summer. Mutual links would be nice to drive viewers of the site and with luck gain a few more members for the forum. But I do not plan to make it a requirement. R.

Not a life changing event But the site just gained a contact us page. Latest news is that I have been working with Pata on modifications to the Members Map Page. It currently stands the same but Pata has some interesting ideas for this page. I will post an update here when the new page goes live. I have the option to enable rss update notifications on the site but thought that was a bot OTT Roger www.hondantv.co.uk
