The work bench supporting the bike looks interesting as well. Did you make it?

Sorry I don't understand very well "powder coated" meaning. I have painted (well not me, professional people) frame, forks bottles, wheels, cardan, steering bars and body parts. They refurbished all parts, cleaning oxide and coating with a premier paint, then final color. About the bench, it was a spare table from a industrial machinery and I have installed wheels and brackets. It has been really useful as I can move it around. I have used this table also for the engine refurbishment previously. Now the issue is how I will dismount the bike from the bench Cheers Antonio

Sorry I don't understand very well "powder coated" meaning. Powder Coating is a professionally applied dry powder, electrostatically applied and then cooked in an oven. Very hard wearing and durable; keeps the rust at bay and looks beautiful en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powder_coating

afernandez Very good work and thank you very much for sharing such a high quality record of your work. Close up shots of this quality I am sure will help other members with their projects. You need some strong friends to left her own, off the table. I look forward to final shots of your bike in one piece.

Update, Almost finished and eager to get last parts, this is current status of my Revi. I have pending a water pump, I have ordered a second hand unit e-bay, as mine original was leaking coolant by the small hole on the pump, so problems on the gasket and bearings shaft , and difficult to be repaired. Carburetors almost finished, need to assembly bodies and put fit on the engine. I have also send seat to be refurbished on green color, may be end of week. Electrical system everything working at the moment. My plan is to have everything ready to make first start in two weeks time if there is no delay on parts. To be honest I'm really proud of the work done and how looks the bike now, really impressive to be a 20 years old bike. I think today bike manufacturers in general don't think on bikes like Revere when they design a new model, a logical bike, medium power range, Kardan transmission, etc Hopefully engine sounds like looks now the bike when I will start after one year. Keep you posted. Antonio

Really like what you did with the bike, it looks(and probably feels) brand new ;-) Good job, it's been almost an year now... Agree with what you say, there's something missing in this segment, bikes nowadays are either too sporty/muscled or too confy and heavy.

Hi all, See attached video, first start, well second to be honest after one year stopped, sounds good ;D I had no several problems to start the engine, just some tries as carbs were plenty o fuel, and I need to make some fine tuning to get a balanced rev. www.youtube.com/watch?v=axLYr-HN760PS: The ugly guy is me Regards Antonio

Antonio,
That bike looks and sounds great. Fantastic job.
I would guess you probably don't need to powder coat your bike as the climate in Barcelona is much drier than in the UK and Ireland so much less rust. Here we get a lot of rain so rust is a big issue.
