Hi All,
For those who like a good read try the book about Burt Munroe called " One Good Run " it covers his biking life in detail and a very interesting man he was.
They still show an old George Formby film on TT week in Douglas called " No Limits " and it still gets a full house I'm told.

British biker movie called ‘Freebird’ starring Phil Daniels is out in February.

Jake
Hi McF,
Yeah, MCN describe Freebird as ‘more like Pirates of the Caribbean on bikes….’ I think they mean this as a criticism, but to me it sounds like good fun.
Actually I think this film was made more than a few years ago and it's only just been released. I’m pretty sure I remember Phil Daniels giving an interview in one of the bike magazines and describing it. In the film he actually rides a Moto Guzzi which he said was great but it kept breaking down, and they had to have a mechanic permanently on standby to keep it running.
In fact if you look at the trailer you’ll notice that Phil Daniels looks a lot younger than he does on Eastenders…. not that I watch Eastenders that much…..

Hi
'Wild hogs' +1
while not a great film, kind of accurately depicts a large group of bikers (Not me of course... )
Midlife crisis + a renewed interest in 'Boys/mans stuff. aka BIKES!
Central point of film'
Individual from many walks of life come together with a common interest..Bikes.
Said individual disagree but unite to fight others to help/save their group.
Not too gritty and realistic, but pleasant enough to watch, and think what you might have done, without being too 'Disneyfied'
Watchable rating 6/10
And jake
The hairy bikers...?
Spot on son..
them boys can ride and cook
If only they ran bike tours, I might sign up for one..........

Looks interesting….
Tarantino produced biker movie called ‘Hell Ride’
which according MCN is out next month. Judging by
the trailer (poor quality) it looks like a typical Tarantino
blood-fest, but bikes include Indians, Harleys and Triumphs.
www.comingsoon.net/hellrideredband.php
More appealing maybe is ‘UK debut of awesome bike flick’
called ‘Brittown’ a documentary about a Californian based
brit-bike shop, called Hell on Wheels… looks good.
