doh, cheers for looking oddjob. im still hoping someone has one knocking about as i cant really afford 100 squids for a new disk at the moment.

That should be easy to see...the front is much bigger I nearly posted exactly the same comment! until I thought "what do you compare it to?" as they are both fairly big. There are other differences, but I needed to check them before posting Both disks are bolted with 6 bolts, however, the rear disk has 12 holes in it 6 for the mouting bolts, plus 6 for the drive pin bolts. The rear disk should have "Drive" and a directional arrow stamped on it, the front disk may have "rotation" on it and an arrow. Minimum thicknesses shoul dbe stamped on and they are different: Front - 5mm Rear - 4mm but this may vary from model to model!

About the thickness: I have seen new discs advertised for the NTV that were only 5mm thick. These are not suitable, as they need to be more than that. (like said, 5mm is the minimum...so starting off with that seems pointless doesn't it?)

www.otterparts.nl/ has one that is 5,45 mm thick and sells for 60 euro's (excl. p&p). Franklin

ow..hadn't thought of that (don't worry, won't buy the front one, but I do want to have the cheap rear one....as it's 5mm....that's pretty much new! I hope he doesn't realize that before I get it )

alright i've just bought a wheel and brake disk off ebay for the grand total of 20 squids plus about 25 quid postage, wont be bad if the disk is as described but i also needed the wheel so brucey bonus hehe
