Last saturday I was a volunteer for a day specially organised for chronically ill children. The day was organised by a group of pharmacists. And relied a lot on the help of a lot of dutch porsche-owners. Every child was collected from their home (or hospital) by a porsch + driver (usually the owner) and then taken to a location where a lot of fun & games were organised. My job was mostly directing traffic, because there were 250 porsches ! So I didn't see a lot of the target group (i.e. the children). But, then again, porsche-owners are a bit like children as well; only their toys are a bit more expensive......... Well done for doing that, I do like old Porsche's as well.
Sports cars and the idea of speed would have made lots of wide grins for the kids.
Good suff.

I agree. I like the old porsches better than the new ones.
As for sportscars, I'm much more a fan of the british ones (Aston Martin, Lotus etc.)

Ah yes, I have seen images/movies on tv about that for the last few years....real nice event I like most porsche's but the older ones are nicer... I had the misfortune of sitting in one once....and feel the acceleration.... (mind you, it didn't do my nerves much good that the driver had only recently passed his driving test...) spoiled for life now Hey....I see someone has changed their picture..... Can I guess what type of bike it is? hmmm.....no, not a clue ;D
